It is small state of Kerala, which represents just 1% of the land mass,is considered to be one of India's most beautiful state. It is a very rural state with most of the population living in villages but is culturally and scenically diverse. Kerala has two national parks, ten wildlife sanctuaries and two bird sanctuaries.
Kerala occupies a long (550km), narrow strip of land in the far south of India. Its coastline is on the Arabian Sea ( part of the Indian Ocean) and its eastern border with the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu is the top of the majestic Western Ghat mountains. The landscape varies from long golden beaches to cool hill stations and dense green jungle to bustling cities. Its unique feature is the 1,900km of palm fringed backwaters.
Itinerary
Day 01 :
Arrival at Cochin, On the arrival at cochin you will meet our representative and will proceed to Munnar. Check into the hotel. The day is free to leisure and to relax. Over night at hotel. ( Cochin - Munnar , 140 Kms 4 Hrs drive)
Day 02 :
Morning after breakfast you will be taken for a sightseeing of Munnar, Munnar, ia a place with hills around ,lush green surroundings , lakes,tea estates . Your sideseeing also includes Rajamalai, Matuppetty, Kundala Dam. Overnight at Hotel
Day 03 :
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Alleppey on arrival check into the Hotel.( Munnar - Alleppey ,185 Kms 04 hrs drive )
Day 04 :
After Break fast drive to Kovalam and on arrival check in to Hotel .Kovalam Kerala's beautiful beach where you enjoy holiday with sun, sand, surf and sea. You can also enjoy the oil baths and ayurvedic massages. Aternoon ia for beach activities.Overnight at hotel . ( Alleppey - Kovalam , 140 Kms 4 Hours drive. )
Day05 :
After Breakfast , you proceed for Kanyakumari, named after the Goddess Kannyakumari. Kannyakumari is the one of the sacred place for Hindu religion. This is the place where three oceans joined together. Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arabian sea . You visit to Vivekananda Memorial. Kanyakumari is the southern most tip of India . It is a breathtaking sight. You can actually make out the three different colors of the waters, and watching them merge into one another at dusk is an unforgettable experience.Kanyakumari is an important pilgrimage center, attracting several thousand pilgrims to its surroundings. Sunrise and sunset are the major attraction of Kanyakumari. especially on full moon days. The beach is a beautiful sight with multi-coloured sand. Kanyakumari also known as Cape Comorin . The major places of tourist attraction are Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Sangam is the meeting point of the three major oceans , The Lighthouse from here you can get a panoramic view of the surroundings , Vattakottai , Circular Fort 6 kms from Kanyakumari and many more . After a scenic view of Sunset you come back to Kovalam .Overnight at Hotel .
Day 06 :
Departure Transfer to TRivandrum (14 Kms). Come back home with happy memories.
